Join guest speaker Bert Weichel, lecturer in the Geography Department at the University of Saskatchewan, as he talks about his experience building his own straw bale house just outside of Saskatoon. He will discuss some of the advantages of straw bale construction, including the renewable nature of straw, cost, easy availability and high insulation value.
