SES is a reputable organization which educates and champions sustainable use of forests, energy, and water; reducing use of harmful toxins; and promotes environment-friendly forms of transportation.

We Need Your Help!
If you enjoy organizing and/or being part of a team, the SES has a number of areas that support our mission towards sustainable living. Our volunteers are involved in:
- Education—Talk to the public and provide information.
- Fundraising—Raise money through growing our membership.
- Coalition Building—SES has volunteer representatives that sit on a variety of advisory committees from government, industry, and other non-profits (for example, Climate Action Network Canada).
- Advocacy—SES has a number of working committees on specific issues such as water and pesticide reduction. These committees advocate sustainable solutions and carry our projects to promote them. If you wish to participate in the Pesticide Reduction committee or Water Issues Committee, please contact our office.
- Administration—send out educational materials, etc.
